Tate Residences' organic modern landscape concept abstracts the geometric form of fractal patterns. This theme is reflected in the design of the 3-dimensional grass mounds. The shape of the pool, sculpted terrazzo benches, deck area, barbecue pavilions and children’s play areas all reflect the irregular geometry, creating patterns in the landscape. The softscape design focuses on expressing a textural composition through the use of lawns, grass mounds, flowering ground covers and layered trees. Metallic mesh screens along the porte-cochere and Claymore Garden transits forms a subtle backdrop that highlights the landscape. Fracturing and folding, they capture reflections of the sun and water during the day and create dancing dots of lights at night.
