Named after the Tembusu that is an evergreen hardwood tree native to Singapore and throughout South East Asia, the landscape design takes the form of a rainforest theme to seamlessly integrate Singapore’s Active, Beautiful and Clean (ABC) water management program in this project. Articulated water features capture and retain rainwater through streams that meander through lush green gardens, vegetated swales and rain gardens. Throughout the site, emergent and canopy trees are established to further enhance the rainforest environment. The conservation, harvesting and reusing of water is exemplified in this design.
